River bugs

Experience an exciting trip down white water rapids, riding on what can only be described as an extremely buoyant inflatable armchair!

Upon arrival at the centre you will be kitted out in a top-of-the-range 5mm wetsuit, to ensure you stay warm, as well as wetsuit boots, a helmet, life jacket, flippers for your feet and webbed gloves (like a duck's foot) to help you steer.

We will then travel the short distance to the head of the river where you will receive a safety brief and instructions on maneuvering your bug. After some practice in relatively still water you will soon be traveling quickly over the rapids. With an experienced and enthusiastic instructor leading, and one bringing up the rear you can be sure of a safe trip.

No experience is necessary, but you will need to be a confident swimmer to participate.
